Can't find Import under File menu due to moved to Get External Data submenu.
Cause:
The 'Import' command has been moved to 'Get External Data' submenu under the 'File' menu.
Solution:
In Access 7.0, select the 'File' menu, select 'Get External Data', and select 'Import...'.
1) Select the 'File' menu and select 'Get External Data'. (A submenu appears.)
2) Select 'Import...'. (The Import dialog box appears.)
3) Select the subfolder containing the file to be imported from the 'Look in' drop-down list box.
4) Select the file to be imported from the 'Look in' list box.

5) Click 'Import'. (An appropriate dialog box appears, depending on the type of file selected. Examples are the 'Text Import Wizard', the 'Import Objects', and the 'Import Spreadsheet Wizard' dialog boxes.)
6) (Special Case) If a database file was selected in step 4), do the following:
NOTE: The 'Import Object' dialog box appears.
a) Click desired object tab.
b) Select the object(s) to import from the list.
c) Click 'OK'. (The selected object is imported into the open database.)
7) (Special Case) If a text file was selected in step 4), do the following:
NOTE: The 'Text Import Wizard' dialog box appears.

a) Make the desired selections and entries in the first dialog box.
b) Click 'Next' to move to the next dialog box.
c) Repeat steps 7)a) and 7)b) for each dialog box.
d) Click 'Finish' when all selections have been made. (The text file is imported into the open database.)
8) (Special Case) If a spreadsheet file was selected in step 4), do the following:
NOTE: The 'Import Spreadsheet Wizard' dialog box appears.

a) Make the desired selections and entries in the first dialog box.
b) Click 'Next' to move to the next dialog box.
c) Repeat steps 8)a) and 8)b) for each dialog box.
d) Click 'Finish' when all selections have been made. (The spreadsheet is imported into the open database.)
